This week is a special celebratory podcast to commemorate The Lazy Geeks one-year anniversary of their podcast and website. This week they are given some special comments from a couple of their contributors and friends and a special tidbit from their very first podcast. After that it is business as usual for the guys. Nomad discusses some questions from Back to the Future, Part Two and Sapien rants about his hatred against Twilight. Nomad talks about Redbox’s 20 cent price hike and the Walking Dead get to live for another year. Sapien dishes about Batman: Arkham City’s first week in sales and is excited about the free-to-play DC Universe coming November 1st. Nomad tries to make sense as to why Warner Bros is pulling all their Harry Potter movies out of stores, while Sapien is surprised by Sony’s latest PSP bundle. Nomad discusses whether or not digital comics will become the way of the future and Sapien is trying to figure out why EA has been dropping the ball with its release of Battlefield 3. Another week of new releases in comics, games and DVDs this week. They, also, have what’s new on Netflix and in theaters. Of course, they didn’t forget their douchebags, epic people and recommendations. This week Sapien and Nomad are back with a stuffed podcast. Nomad discusses Bryan Singer directing the new BSG feature film and BlackBerry attempting to make nice by giving away apps. Sapien dishes on layoffs going on over at Minecraft and that EA’s Origins online service is blowing up. The guys dissect the real reason that many high profiled PC games are being delayed from their original launch date and is having main characters (essential to the game) being DLC for new game owners only a major fail. Of course they talk about Batman: Arkham City and DirecTV possibly going dark on Fox. There is a slew of new releases in comics, games and DVDs this week. They, also, have what’s new on Netflix and in theaters. Of course, they didn’t forget their douchebags, epic people and recommendations. Nomad takes the ropes when he talks about another book store pulling DC graphic novels off their shares and some people get locked out after Sony suffers another attack. Let us not forget that Netflix decides that they don’t want to continue with Qwikster anymore. Nomad discusses why it makes sense for businesses to switch over to Windows 7 rather than waiting for Windows 8. He, also, has his set of douchebags, epic people and his recommendations for the week. Of course, he brought along his list of new releases for Netflix, movies, comics, DVDS and games to buy. The first time the guys are doing their first podcast from across the country. Nomad is coming from the east coast with the no love between Dexter star and Showtime and an explanation regarding no “Crisis” in the New DC Universe. Sapien explains why it’s taken so long from Netflix to come to Linux and the recent Xbox Live Outage. Nomad goes into the iPhone 4S and why it’s the “meh” event of the year, while Sapien shows off the new Xbox Live sale. The guys take a bit to reflect on the life and legacy of Steve Jobs. Let’s not forget about the douchebags, epic person, viewer comments and recommendations for the week. The guys have another jammed packed podcast for you. Sapien is upset that the lawsuit over “Scrolls” is going to court. Nomad sees that Marvel doesn’t get any love from Michigan. The guys debate over which game will be better: “Modern Warfare 3” or “Battlefield 3”, while Nomad had some issues upgrading his fat PS3 40G HDD to a 200G. There is a slew of new releases in comics, games and DVDs this week. They, also, have what’s new on Netflix and in theaters.
